The Board chairman of Uniex Ghana Limited; Mr. Dan Markin has been appointed the Chairman of Ghana’s Railways Development Authority.

President Mills on Wednesday July 15th 2009 announced the appointment of Mr. Dan Markin as the chairman of the Authority’s board having consulted with the Council of State of Ghana in line with Ghana’s constitution, said the Press Secretary to the President.

Mr. Markin thus is the first chairman of this new Authority; Ghana Railways Development Authority established under an act of parliament 2009.

It will be recalled that when Ghana’s Highways Authority Board was given Parliamentary backing through an act of Parliament Mr. Markin was appointed as its first chairman. Mr. Dan Markin thus chalks yet another first in institutional development. Uniex is proud to be associated with this feet.

Uniex and President Obama’s visit in Ghana
Uniex Ghana limited sponsored some of the major bill boards during President Obama’s visit to Ghana. Uniex’s effort was officially and appropriately appreciated by the government of Ghana through the Minister of Information.

Snr Managers of Excel are bailed for further training at the Uniex training centre effective 27th July to 31st July 2009.
