Mr. Ocansah is a chartered accountant by profession. He is a holder of CA (FINAL) and
ACCA LEVELS 1, 2 &3.Besides that, Mr. Ocansah has received training in Computerised Accounting at ABSC Inst.,
Internal Auditing and Computer Auditing at Price Waterhouse,
Lotus 123, Public Sector Accounting and Performance Auditing at ICA (Ghana), Financial Decision Makers Workshop at World Trade Inst. New York,
Corporate Planning at Money and Associate, Update on Tax Laws in Ghana at associate Mgt. Consultants,
VAT at ICA (Ghana), and Re-engineering for Results at Delloite & Touch.
Mr Ocansah's working experience includes being the Chief Internal Auditor of Ghana
National Procurement Agency from 1994 to 1998. His duties included overall supervision of the internal Audits of the company, institution of effective and efficient
systems of internal control to safeguard the financial and material assets of the company.
As an accountant with the Ghana Cocoa Board he was instrumental in bringing sanity to the accounting processes in the corporation, and ensured that the backlogs that existed from 1974 to 1982 were cleared and that records were brought up to date.
