Mr. Jackson Geoffrey Kwadwo Abankwa is the Director of Uniex Ghana Limited responsible for Project Development and Management. He is a Ghanaian and married with three children.
Mr. Abankwa is an architect by profession and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture from
the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, and a Masters degree in Business
Administration(MBA), Management Science option, from the University of Ghana. Mr Abankwa’s academic achievement
includes lecturing as an Architectural Lecturer at the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi(now Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology), the Obafemi Awolowo University(formerly University of Ife) Ile-Ife, Oyo State - Nigeria.
While lecturing in Nigeria, Mr. Abankwa was also involved in research, design supervision, and management in Housing Schemes including the Kainiji Resettlement Project, the University of Ife Staff Housing Scheme, the Headquarters of the Nigerian University Commission Lagos, the Economic Commission for Africa’s Centre for Training at Ile Ife, the Castle of Mercy, Illesha, the Omele Medical Centre, Illesha etc.
He is a member of the Ghana Institute of Architects. He has designed and supervised the Construction of many architectural edifices in Ghana. Amongst these are the Dupaul House, Trade Fair Centre, Accra, the GIFEX Registration Hall, Trade Fair Centre, Accra, the Dupaul Administration Block and Factory.
As the Head of Projects and Administration in Dupaul office, Accra, Mr. Abankwa was responsible for project designing and establishing and maintaining internal control in financial and administrative transactions, recruitment of staff and general services.
Mr. Abankwa serves on other boards including Constec Limited and Atmark Consult Ltd., where he is responsible for project planning.
Mr. Abankwa has published many books and Articles, among these is Schreckenbach, H. and Abankwa J. G. K., Construction Technology for Tropical Developing Country Eschborn, Germany G. T. Z. Published in 1982, and currently being used as one of the Text Books in the training of Architects at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
